Jon DeVore Participates as Panelist for the U.S. Department of Veteran Affairs, “My Business Journey Series”

by | May 5, 2021 | Firm News

In late March, Birch Horton Bittner & Cherot attorney Jon M. DeVore was asked to participate as a panelist for the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs “My Business Journey” webinar. The MBJ Series shares the stories of successful Women Veterans in Business and seeks to empower, educate, and enable like-minded Women Veteran Entrepreneurs.

Jon participated in the webinar titled, “Winning Relationships:  Best Practices for Teaming, Mentor-Protégé and Joint Venture Agreements”, which gave him the opportunity to address operational, relational, and legal best practices in the areas of teaming, mentor-protégé and joint ventures agreements.  The webinar provided recommendations for addressing some of the most pervasive problems in developing agreements for entrepreneurs.

Thank you to Michelle Gardner-Ince, Retired Colonel, USAF and Director of Women Veteran Small Business Initiatives for inviting us to join the webinar, along with Sharon Athas Cote, President of SBH Services who also presented.

A recording of the webinar can be found here.
